Velora restores old or damaged photos and removes image backgrounds using artificial intelligence.
Photos you select — shared with a third-party AI service. When you choose a photo to restore or to remove its background, the app first asks for your explicit permission, and only then transmits that image to our AI processing provider, fal.ai (Features & Labels, Inc.), via our Cloudflare endpoint, solely to perform the edit you requested. The photo is processed in real time and is deleted immediately after processing — it is never stored, shared further, reused, or used to train any model. No photo is ever sent before you tap “I agree” in the app. fal.ai is contractually bound to provide the same level of data protection described in this policy and to process the image only on our instructions.
Anonymous device identifier. A random identifier is stored on your device to enforce free daily usage limits. It is not linked to your name or account.
Purchase status. Subscriptions and one-time purchases are handled by the Apple App Store / Google Play and managed via RevenueCat to unlock Pro features.
Advertising (free users). Google AdMob may process advertising identifiers to display ads.
Technical logs. Minimal error/security logs.
Performance of a contract (providing the edit/subscription), our legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention), and your consent (advertising/tracking where required).
Cloudflare (hosting/processing), fal.ai (AI image processing), RevenueCat (subscription management), Google AdMob (advertising), Apple / Google (payments). Some processing may occur outside the EU under appropriate safeguards (e.g. EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
Photos are transient and deleted after processing. Usage counters expire automatically (~26 hours). Logs are kept only as needed for operation and security.

Velora is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
